Alan Wray Tudyk was born on 16th March 1971, and an actor from the United States. Among his notable film roles are the film 28 Days in 2000, the medieval adventure A Knight's Tale in 2001, the comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story in 2004, and motion capture work for Sonny in I, Robot in 2004. His filmography includes the Western thriller 3:10 to Yuma in 2007 and led the black comedy horror film Tucker & Dale vs. Evil in 2010. Additional appearances include Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 2011, 42 in 2013, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials in 2015, and Trumbo in 2015. Since 2012, he has lent his voice to characters in every Walt Disney Animation Studios film . Tudyk is also known for his television roles playing Wash in the space Western Firefly from 2002 to 2003. Despite its short run, the show became a beloved cult classic. Tudyk returned to this role in the 2005 continuation film Serenity, delving further into the series' storyline. His other roles include the English black comedy Death at a Funeral in 2007, the sitcom Arrested Development in 2005, 2013, and 2019, and the science fiction series Dollhouse from 2009 to 2010. In animation, he provided the voice of Green Arrow in Young Justice from 2010 to 2013 and in 2019, along with numerous voices on American Dad! since 2011. Tudyk also starred in the sitcom Suburgatory from 2011 to 2014, the satirical series Newsreaders from 2014 to 2015, and providing voices for Star vs. the Forces of Evil from 2015 to 2019. He played Dangerboat in The Tick from 2017 to 2019, portrayed K-2SO in Rogue One , and took on the role of Eric Morden / Mr. Nobody in Doom Patrol in 2019. In the realm of video games , voicing Mickey in Halo 3: ODST in 2009, returning as K-2SO in Star Wars Battlefront in 2015, and continuing as Green Arrow in multiple DC Super Hero games in 2013, 2015, and 2017. Since 2019, Tudyk has voiced The Joker and Clayface in Harley Quinn . He stars as Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle in Resident Alien and brings Optimus Prime to life in Transformers: EarthSpark.
